PORT-SIDE PRODUCE PACKING / SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

Built for the Demands
of Fresh Imports.

The Port-to-Cold Advantage.

Carson and the harbor region: Carson Cold beside U.S. Customs, the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, and freeways I-110, I-405 and I-710. The dotted circle illustrates overweight corridor access, not a legal boundary.

When Carson Cold was designed and built, international importers were at the center of the plan.

Located just 8 miles from the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, Carson Cold was built to make the handoff from port to cold storage as quick and efficient as possible. Our location within the San Pedro Bay Overweight Corridor gives importers added flexibility when moving heavier loads, helping reduce the need for additional weight-related routing and permitting considerations.

We’re also located directly next to U.S. Customs, with our facility less than 20 feet from the customs operation. Once a container clears, our dedicated yard tractor can move it from the adjacent customs dock directly into our cold dock in minutes.
