In 2025, the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach handled more than 10 million import TEUs combined. Once fresh imports arrive, their supply-chain journey is just beginning. Importers need a trusted next stop where temperature can be managed and products can be prepared, packaged, and staged for distribution across the country.

Carson Cold Storage & Packing is built for that next step. Because Carson Cold is close to the ports and supports fresh imports, traditional extra fees for overweight or XL containers are waived. We’re also next door to U.S. Customs. Once containers clear Customs, our yard goat pulls them directly to our facility, helping reduce drayage time and keep fresh products moving through the cold chain.

Under one roof, we provide repacking, reconditioning, bagging, boxing, cross-docking, and cold storage. With 14 automated baggers, two machine lines, and 15+ independently controlled cold rooms, we’re equipped to prepare fresh imports for their next destination. Our facility is just eight miles from the ports.
